Xerfico Pro London — XERF and PicoSure Pro in One Dermatologist-Led Protocol
Xerfico Pro in London is a personalised treatment protocol developed by Consultant Dermatologist Dr Ophelia Veraitch. It combines XERF multi-frequency radiofrequency with PicoSure Pro picosecond laser, allowing skin laxity, pigmentation, tone and texture to be addressed together within one dermatologist-led plan at her Harley Street clinic.
The thinking behind Xerfico Pro is simple: skin does not age in one way. Loss of firmness, uneven pigmentation, rough texture, dullness, fine lines and changes around the eyes often happen together, but they do not all have the same cause or sit at the same depth. A treatment chosen for pigmentation will not necessarily improve laxity, and a treatment chosen for firmness will not necessarily improve tone.
Xerfico Pro brings two complementary technologies together in a planned sequence, so treatment is built around what your skin actually needs.
What is Xerfico Pro?
Xerfico Pro is a personalised skin rejuvenation protocol that combines XERF radiofrequency and PicoSure Pro laser treatment.
XERF works on the deeper layers of the skin, supporting firmness, collagen contraction and new collagen production. It is particularly useful for laxity, softening along the jawline, lower-face firmness, neck crepiness and skin tightening.
PicoSure Pro works more superficially, targeting pigmentation, uneven tone, sun damage, texture and radiance. It uses picosecond laser technology to break up unwanted pigment with very short pulses, while also supporting collagen stimulation through its focus lens.
Used together, XERF and PicoSure Pro can address more of what patients actually notice: skin that feels less firm, looks less even, has changed texture or appears duller than it used to.
Xerfico Pro is not simply two treatments sold together. It is a dermatologist-led protocol where the technologies, treatment order, settings, areas and timing are selected after a full skin assessment.
How Does Xerfico Pro Work?
Xerfico Pro works by treating different layers and causes of visible skin ageing.
XERF is a multi-frequency monopolar radiofrequency treatment. It delivers energy at two frequencies and across three depths to heat the deeper layers of the skin. This heat causes collagen to contract and stimulates new collagen production over the following months. This helps improve firmness, laxity and the appearance of skin support, particularly along the jawline, neck and lower face.
PicoSure Pro is a picosecond laser treatment. It delivers laser energy in pulses measured in trillionths of a second. These ultra-short pulses fragment unwanted pigment with less heat spread into surrounding tissue compared with older laser technologies. PicoSure Pro can help improve pigmentation, uneven tone, sun damage, texture and overall skin brightness.
In simple terms, XERF treats the scaffolding of the skin, while PicoSure Pro treats pigment, tone and surface quality. The combination allows Dr Ophelia to plan treatment around more than one concern, rather than expecting a single device to do everything.

Benefits of Xerfico Pro
Xerfico Pro is designed for patients who have more than one visible skin concern and want a plan built around their skin rather than a generic device package.
Potential benefits include:
- Improved skin firmness
- Support for collagen production
- Improved jawline and lower-face laxity
- Improved neck and décolletage skin quality
- Reduced pigmentation and sun damage
- Improved uneven tone
- Brighter, fresher-looking skin
- Improved skin texture
- Reduced appearance of enlarged pores
- Support for fine lines
- Can address pigmentary dark circles in suitable patients
- Can treat eye-area laxity and crepiness in suitable patients
- Minimal downtime
- Suitable across skin types following assessment
- Personalised dermatologist-led planning
Not every patient needs both technologies. If your skin only needs XERF, or only needs PicoSure Pro, this will be explained during consultation.
Conditions Xerfico Pro Can Treat
Xerfico Pro may be suitable for selected patients with:
- Skin laxity
- Jowls
- Loss of jawline definition
- Neck laxity
- Crepey neck skin
- Décolletage ageing
- Sun damage
- Hyperpigmentation
- Age spots
- Melasma
- Uneven skin tone
- Uneven skin texture
- Dull skin
- Enlarged pores
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Acne scarring
- Dark circles
- Eyelid laxity
Dark circles, pigmentation and melasma all need proper assessment. Not all dark circles are caused by pigment, and melasma should be managed as a medical skin condition rather than simply treated as a laser target.
What to Expect — Step-by-step process
Your Xerfico Pro treatment begins with a consultation and dermatological skin assessment.
Dr Ophelia assesses your skin across laxity, pigmentation, tone, texture and overall skin health. Your history, previous treatments and how your skin has responded to them are also reviewed.
Photography and imaging may be used to document your skin before treatment, so progress can be measured rather than guessed.
Dr Ophelia decides which technologies your skin needs, on which areas, in what sequence and over what timescale. This may involve both XERF and PicoSure Pro in one visit, or treatment may be staged across separate appointments.
Where both technologies are used in one visit, XERF is usually performed first because it targets the deeper layers of the skin. XERF does not require needles or numbing cream and is generally a comfortable treatment.
Topical anaesthetic may then be applied, depending on the area and settings, before PicoSure Pro treatment is performed. PicoSure Pro is used to address pigmentation, tone, texture and more superficial collagen stimulation.
Where a full eye treatment is appropriate, intraocular eye shields may be placed before treatment begins. This allows treatment closer to the lash line in suitable patients, rather than stopping short of the area of concern.
You will be given written aftercare instructions. For the laser component, this includes sun protection and avoiding heat or irritants for a short period. Sun protection is especially important after any pigment treatment.
Your skin is reviewed with repeat photography, and the plan is adjusted according to how your skin has actually responded.

Results and Downtime
The two parts of Xerfico Pro work on different timelines, so results appear in stages.
Immediately after treatment
The skin may feel warm and look slightly red. This usually settles quickly. With the laser component, some pigmented areas may temporarily darken.
First few days
Some patients experience mild swelling or fine darkening of pigment spots as they begin to clear. Most patients can return to normal activities and work immediately.
1–3 weeks
Brightness and evenness of tone often improve first. Pigmentation may look clearer and the skin may appear fresher.
6–8 weeks
Firmness changes usually begin to become more noticeable as new collagen production develops from the radiofrequency component.
3 months
The overall result becomes easier to judge from around three months. Assessing the final result before this point may be too early.
6 months
Firmness results generally reach their fullest around six months as collagen remodelling continues.

Pricing and Number of Sessions
Xerfico Pro is a protocol rather than a fixed treatment package, so the number of sessions depends on your skin, your concerns and how the technologies are sequenced.
The radiofrequency component may achieve a good result in a single treatment, with periodic maintenance. The pigment and texture component may benefit from a short course, depending on what is being treated and your skin type.
Cost depends on the treatment areas, technologies used and whether the protocol is delivered in one visit or over staged appointments.
Your personalised treatment plan and full pricing will be confirmed after consultation.
Why Dr Ophelia for Xerfico Pro in London
Xerfico Pro is not simply two machines used together. It is a dermatologist-led protocol based on clinical assessment, sequencing and understanding what each technology can realistically achieve.
Dr Ophelia Veraitch is a Consultant Dermatologist at 130 Harley Street with extensive experience combining radiofrequency and resurfacing technologies. She has worked with monopolar radiofrequency for more than ten years and has combined radiofrequency with laser and energy-based treatments throughout that time.
This matters because the most important decision is not which machine to use, but what your skin actually needs. A pigmented lesion should be examined before being treated as a sun spot. Melasma should be diagnosed and managed as a relapsing medical condition. Skin of colour requires thoughtful settings and a proper understanding of pigmentary risk. Advanced laxity may require surgical advice rather than more device treatments.
Patients choose Dr Ophelia for Xerfico Pro in London because the protocol is built around consultant dermatologist assessment, careful technology selection, long appointments, follow-up over time and natural-looking improvement.

FAQs
Xerfico Pro is a personalised treatment protocol developed by Dr Ophelia Veraitch. It combines XERF multi-frequency radiofrequency with PicoSure Pro picosecond laser within one dermatologist-led plan. XERF addresses laxity and firmness, while PicoSure Pro addresses pigmentation, tone and texture.
The difference is the assessment, sequencing and planning. Xerfico Pro is not simply booking XERF and PicoSure Pro separately. Dr Ophelia decides which technologies are needed, on which areas, in what order and over what interval based on your skin.
There is usually some immediate tightening from the heating itself. The more meaningful change comes from new collagen and develops gradually, becoming noticeable from around 6–8 weeks, continuing to around three months and reaching its fullest around six months.
Not necessarily. Some patients need only radiofrequency, while others need only laser. Xerfico Pro exists because many patients have concerns at more than one depth, not because every patient needs both treatments.
The technologies have been chosen with skin type in mind. Radiofrequency does not target pigment, and PicoSure Pro uses picosecond laser technology with less heat spread than older resurfacing lasers. However, dermatologist assessment remains essential, particularly for skin of colour.
Xerfico Pro may form part of a melasma treatment plan, but melasma should be managed as a medical condition rather than simply treated as a laser target. Dr Ophelia assesses melasma carefully and will advise what is realistic.
Downtime is usually minimal. Redness and warmth for a few hours are common. With the laser component, some patients may have mild swelling and temporary darkening of pigmented spots for a few days.
XERF is usually described as warm rather than painful and does not require needles or numbing cream. PicoSure Pro can feel like a rapid flicking sensation, and topical anaesthetic may be used where appropriate.
Brightness and tone often improve over one to three weeks. Firmness develops more slowly, becoming noticeable from around six to eight weeks and usually reaching its fullest at around six months.
Firmness results generally last a year or more with periodic maintenance. Pigmentation results depend on sun exposure, the underlying cause and whether medical management is needed.
In suitable patients, yes. Dr Ophelia and her team have experience using intraocular eye shields for energy-based and laser treatment around the eyes where clinically appropriate.
No. XERF can improve firmness and skin quality, but it does not remove excess skin or surgically reposition tissue. Where laxity is advanced, a surgical opinion may be more appropriate.
Usually, but timing and sequencing matter. Previous treatments need to be discussed so the plan can be adjusted safely and sensibly.
Xerfico Pro is available at Dr Ophelia’s clinic at 130 Harley Street. It is her own protocol, with assessment and planning carried out by Dr Ophelia and treatment delivered by her or a trained member of her clinical team working to that plan.
