Why Morpheus 8

Morpheus8 improves the appearance of loose, sagging skin/ areas. It is also a great treatment for improving the appearance of fine lines, winkles and scars.

Morpheus8 is the first and only device to remould the skin to treat concerns such as lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, acne scars and stretch marks. Morpheus8 uses micro-needling and radio frequency technologies to stimulate collagen and elastin for a youthful and refreshed result.

Treating Your Skin Concerns

  • Skin tightening and rejuvenation
  • Improves skin texture and condition, fine lines, wrinkles
  • Improves the appearance of scars (from acne or previous surgery)

How does it work

Morpheus8 utilises fractional radio frequency (RF) to heat the dermis to stimulating elastin and collagen production. This leads to skin tightening, rejuvenation, an improvement in fine lines/ winkles and the appearance of scars.

Your Questions Answered

What areas can be treated?

Morpheus8 can be used on the face, neck and body. The most common body areas to be treated are the arms 'bingo wings', abdomen, buttocks and thighs.

How many treatments will I need?

Usually a few treatments (1-3) are needed, a few weeks apart (3-6).

What happens during the procedure?

After consent and photographs are taken, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied for 15-45 minutes. The anaesthetic cream is then removed and the MORPHEUS8 head is passing over the area to be treated 1-3 times. After the treatment is complete there may be some residual discomfort, redness or swelling.

What is the 'down time'?

There is likely to be some redness and possibly swelling after the procedure. This can last up to two days, and may last longer dependent on the patient and treatment parameters used. Tiny scabs may form on the skin around day 3.
