Why Lanluma?

Lanluma is a revolutionary body sculpting treatment, used to increase volume in areas of the body, including the bottom and hip dips, as well as reducing the appearance of cellulite. It works deep within the tissue to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production. The results include increased volume, enhanced curves and contours, smoother skin and a fuller bottom.

Lanluma is the ideal go-to treatment for a non-surgical bottom lift. It is an excellent alternative to BBL surgery - it is minimally invasive, with little to no downtime and far less risk than surgery as there’s no need for a general anaesthetic.

Lanluma is also used to treat cellulite alongside subcision, where a long cannular is used to gently break the strands of collagen that tether the skin to the fat layer and cause the dimples we know as cellulite. Again, this highly effective treatment offers excellent, long-lasting results without the need for surgery.

Treating your body concerns

  • Body sculpting
  • Cellulite

How does it work?

Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), the key ingredient in Lanluma, is a collagen stimulant that activates the production of your own natural collagen, deep within your skin. As collagen is a structural protein this helps restore the skin’s volume, strength and tautness. Over time, new collagen is produced, and this makes your skin firmer, smoother and tighter. As collagen production is a natural process in the body, results appear over time and look and feel very natural.

How is Lanluma different from traditional filler?

While traditional fillers typically replace lost volume with the injection of hyaluronic acid, which degrades in the body over time, Lanluma actually stimulates and encourages the body to produce its own collagen to replenish natural volume. This produces long-lasting and natural results.

Your Questions Answered

How many treatments will I need?

We recommend 2 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. The number of sessions vary depending each client’s goals. In some cases, one session is enough to reach your desired outcome, while other clients may wish to add further volume with additional sessions.

When will I see results?

Results with Lanluma show gradually over 2-3 months because Lanluma is stimulating the body’s own collagen and elastin production. You will notice results of cellulite reduction almost immediately after treatment as the collagen strands tethering the skin to the fat layer are broken, releasing the skin to spring back to its former smoothness.

Is Lanluma safe?

Lanluma is an injectable Poly-l-lactic Acid (PLLA) collagen stimulant that’s been used in medical products for 30 years so has a strong safety record. Lanluma is officially approved by MHRA in the UK and by the FDA in the USA making it a safe and reliable product to use.

How long do results last?

Results can last for up to two years, sometimes even longer. Factors such as genetic predisposition and lifestyle can impact the duration of results.

Does the treatment hurt?

Treatments with Lanluma are relatively pain-free procedures. A local anaesthetic can be used to minimise ant comfort.

What parts of the body does Lanluma treat?

  • Buttocks – Increase plumpness and reduce the look of a sagging bottom.
  • Thighs – Achieve smoother and fuller skin with a reduction in the appearance of cellulite.
  • Hips – Smooth cellulite and reduce the appearance of hip dips.
  • Neck – Reduces sagging skin, fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Backs of hands – Smooths the skin surface on the backs of the hands to achieve rejuvenation.

What is the down time?

Lanluma treatment has minimal downtime. You may experience some redness, swelling, and bruising around the injection sites following the procedure, but this should clear after a few days. You can return to most activities almost immediately after treatment, although we advise that you avoid vigorous exercise and that you massage the treated area for about a week after the treatment.
